So, I bet you're asking, what is Questin? I have a strong hunch since you're reading this section of the website. ;) Questin started as a little experiment with RPG Maker 2000. It never developed into a full fledged game, but I kept a lot of my writing because I had this delusion that I was brilliant and full of humor. A couple years later, I ran into the web comic A Modest Destiny. To be blunt, I was inspired to try something like that. I thought web comicing would be a neat way to improve my pixel art and keeping myself familiar with photoshop. The first few experiments were rocky and I never bothered to continue them. I blame school for the most part, but videogames also hurt the cause. In the summer of 2008, I was messing around with photoshop and came across an old comic that I had made. I was not satisfied with how I began Questin, so I changed it around. I grabbed some old art and created some new stuff to make episode 1. But I was not satisfied, so I kept creating more and more. Pretty soon I made about 20 little comics and that's when I decided to try out web comicing again. |
